Mr. Lee was a Boston-area entrepreneur and pioneer in the automation of bread and bread crumb making during the late 1800s, He invented machines for use in the hospitality industry that automated the mixing and kneading of bread dough and that created crumbs from day-old loaves.
Each year, the National Inventors Hall of Fames welcomes a new class of Inductees who have made exceptional contributions to society. The induction event celebrates the world’s foremost inventors and will be held at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C.on May 2, 2019. It is hosted in partnership with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and NIHF sponsors.
